Pitch Athletes

Pitch Athletes Show

Season 1 — Coming Soon

Startups pitch.
Athletes make the call.

Real startups. Real athlete investors. Real investment opportunities.

The Format

Three startups.
Three athletes.
One show.

01

Pregame

Meet the startups and athlete investors. Bizball Cards and Pitch Scores provide the scouting report.

02

The Pitch

Founders make their case. The Pitch Clock is running.

03

The Huddle

Athletes question the founder, challenge assumptions and dig into the investment opportunity.

04

The Call

Athletes decide whether they want in — and how much they're prepared to invest.

05

Postgame

See where the money went, who invested and which companies made it into athlete collections.

Mechanics

This isn't your typical pitch.

Pitch Clock

Every founder is on the clock.

Clock Violation

Zero means zero.

Timeout

Athletes can stop the clock when they need clarification.

Flag on the Play

An athlete sees something questionable? They throw a literal yellow penalty flag, explain the challenge, and the founder gets to respond.

Money on the Board

Put your money on the board.

Athletes decide whether they want in and how much they're willing to invest. They can invest together. They can compete for allocation. One athlete can try to take the whole thing.

The founder decides which offers to accept.

Raising$100,000
Athlete 01$10,000
Athlete 02$25,000
Athlete 03$50,000
On the Board$85,000

Bizball Cards

Interest is easy.
Investing gets the card.

Every startup has a Bizball Card. Athletes can pass, or ask Pitch Athletes to hold the card while they consider the opportunity. But they don't get to add it to their collection simply because they like the company.

Invest in the company. Earn the card.

You can't buy your way onto the Show

Earn your airtime.

Pitch Athletes Show appearances are exclusively available to startups participating in the Pitch Athletes Summit. But paying for Summit participation does not buy a Show appearance. Show opportunities are earned through Preseason performance.
